Easy Cheesy Quinoa Recipe

For anyone who may be unsure about cooking quinoa, you should give it a try!  It is one of the healthiest foods and has tons of health benefits.  Plus it is extremely easy and versatile to cook with!  If you haven't tried it, it basically has a texture similar to couscous or a light rice, but it is actually in the spinach family!  Great way to sneak in something healthy to unsuspecting family members!!


Easy Cheesy Quinoa

Ingredients
  • 1 cup uncooked quinoa
  • 5 green onions, chopped
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Directions  
  1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and stir.

(Servings: 4)
